Feyisa Lilesa shows his solidarity with protesters in Ethiopia as he wins Rio Olympics Marathon silver medal.

The sign Lilesa was showing on the picture used by ethnic Oromo Protesters in Ethiopia. Ethiopian activists are pleased by his action and they are appreciating Lilesa on social media.

Lilesa says that if he goes back to Ethiopia, they could kill him, they could put him in prison or keep him in the airport.

Lilesa not quick to celebrate in the press conference as he acknowledges the terrible things happening in Ethiopia.

Lelisa: In nine months, more than 1,000 people have died from government harm.

Lilesa plans to protest at tonight’s closing ceremony when the marathoners get their medals.
